Boseong is popular for its perfect climate and soil for growing tea trees, which gives it a unique taste and aroma. Among its many tea farms, Daehan Dawon stands out as an iconic destination with its expansive fields of green tea bushes and stunning views of the rolling hills.
Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the scenic paths leading to the top observatory, where the views of the sea and refreshing green hills are truly invigorating. To top off the visit, there's the delightful opportunity to taste green tea ice cream. The vibrant landscape makes it a year-round destination.

The Korea Tea Museum was established in 2010 to introduce Korean tea culture and history. Visitors can explore the tea-making process, from cultivation to production, through graphic panels, images, and dioramas. The museum also features a tea experience room where guests can learn how to prepare and enjoy tea in Korea through educational and hands-on experiences.
Viewpoint of the Tea Plantation (20min)

There are many tea farms in Boseong, and one of them features a stunning viewpoint overlooking a lake and green tea hillside. It’s a beautiful spot for taking photos and enjoying the scenery.
Move to the Mountain & Lake Trail (20km, 30min)
Haepyeong Lake Trail (60min) & Choroo Vinegar Park (30min)

A hidden gem in Boseong, this serene 3.9 km lake trail offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by stone pagodas, cedar, bamboo, and maple trees. Midway, there's a vinegar park known for its naturally fermented rice vinegar, featuring a café where visitors can enjoy a unique vinegar-based drink. The blend of scenic beauty and local flavors provides a charming and refreshing experience.
The Cart Trail in Mt. Obongsan (50min) - optional free choice

Hiking Mt. Obongsan is a captivating experience with scenic views of unique rock formations, stone pagodas, and a hidden waterfall. The mountain is culturally significant for its historical quarrying of Gudeuljang, flat stones used in traditional Korean underfloor heating system. From the 1940s to the 1980s, it supplied 70% of the Gudeuljang in Korea. Historical cart trails used for transporting stones are still preserved, offering a choice between a 15-minute walk to the waterfall or a 45-minute hike to the peak.
